..an age of innocence..

and a poem i wrote about it:

An age of innocence,
thinking of you there, now makes me cry.
How close danger can get, and you'd not hear a sound.
Or maybe you knew it was not danger, but appreciation?
Far from the bustle I hope you never know,
I hope you never have to leave this place.
Your spirit runs free with the winds,
but don't ever look so far as to see the grey and of noise and tainted life.

For you are as pure as it comes.
